Seth Grottenthaler

At Skull Diamond and Heart Capital, Seth works as a Venture Analyst, where he searches for potential investment opportunities, thoroughly investigates startups, tracks market trends, and collaborates with portfolio companies to plan for future expansion.

Prior to joining the SDH Capital team, Seth gained foundational experience in finance and accounting through an internship in the manufacturing industry and roles at multiple small businesses. He is a graduate of RIT, where he completed both his undergraduate degree in Finance and his MBA. While at RIT, Seth was a two-time captain of the Men's Varsity Lacrosse Team, helping the team to back-to-back National Championships in 2021 and 2022 and 3 more final 4 appearances from 2023-2025.

Outside of work, Seth stays active by working out, biking, and stays involved in the lacrosse community. Seth is also a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
